Langkawi - Part I

I know.. i know.. It's been almost a month since my last update. You guys should know why right? Assignments, tutorials, projects.. bla bla bla.. its never gonna end one i tell you.. The only time i have is after my shower waiting for dinner time to come where i watch my dramas.. Yeap! That's the only entertainment we had *what a pity.

Alright back to the topic! Today imma blog about my short escapade in Langkawi. I think my last visit there was more than 10 years ago. Cant really remember what i did there also.. Haha wanted to go over to Hatyai for shopping spree tho, but with boyf's friends together i don't think its practical much cuz shopping will definitely bore them! I'd better go with my girlfriends instead :p

started our journey after we had our breakfast.
took us around 2 and a half hours to reach Kuala Perlis.
there's actually another port in Kuala Kedah but we chose Kuala Perlis cuz the ferry duration is shorter.

surprisingly, the ferry was much better than how we thought its gonna be.
i got motion sickness easily but this ferry wasn't that bumpy so everything went pretty well :)

we went on the King's Installation Day! lol

finally we're here! btw it only took us an hour to reach there..

we rented a Grand Livina which is very convenient for us to visit the places around the island ;)

they found a sportswear shop in Kuah Town. Great bargains!! :D

our hotel is situated in the Cenang Beach itself.. or maybe few steps away? lol
this explains the havoc that we gotto run when there's a tsunami alert on that particular day.

and tell you guys what.. on that evening, there's an earthquake but we didn't felt anything until Eddie's dad gave him a call.. then we thought it wouldn't affect us and all until the hotel manager called to warn us.. Kinda scary tho but its all good.. we even went to the beach after we knew about the alert!

see! nobody one.. then we went back to our rooms for a rest until we heard the fire alarm rang.
there's another earthquake and they asked us to leave the hotel as soon as possible to Kuah town so we quickly pack our bags and fly to town, like literally. lol everybody's parents kept calling to ensure their child's safety and all..

spent the evening in KFC for around 2hours + and fortunately, Malaysia was out of the list so yeah we went back to our hotel.. the guys planned to go for a drinking session but plan fail cuz everyone was wayyyy tooo tired!


Luckily, the next morning everything settled down already so we're safe to hit the beach! Will continue with part 2 another time alright? blogging kills time and i've got to finish up my assignments first!
