Lae Lay Grill Spices Seafood - Krabi

T'was my first time travelling to Krabi despite the fact that i'd travelled more than 10times to Bangkok, 7854361496723 times to Hadyai, Kanchanaburi, Phuket and many more places which i cant even recall. I wasn't planning any trip either but boyf called the and asked if I wanted to go Krabi for a getaway with his another couple friend. Got so elated and immediately agreed! So thankful to his friend LC and the girlfriend Shiyi for organizing this amazing trip :)

This post was literally the last night we stayed in Krabi before we depart home the next day. Will have a proper post soon, I promise! So, we decided to have something different for dinner that day. I've read reviews about this restaurant before but never thought that we would have a chance to dine there until Shiyi brought this idea up and we decided to go for it. Its a restaurant that is located in the mid mountain where we could watch the sunset while we have our dinner. Romantic isnt?

We asked our Hotel receptionist to booked a table for us and there's even a free ride there provided by the restaurant. I was pretty impressed by the good hospitality though :p

picture turned out over exposed due to the sun.

the place is not far from town, only took us 5-10 minutes to arrive from our hotel
 this is it!
 the gents
 the ladies

the camera decided to focus on my arm instead.

Lae Lay Grill Spices Seafood serves both Thai and Western cuisines with the special menu that changes every 6 weeks.

The setting is quite similar with Ferringhi Garden, also one of our favourite restaurants in Penang. There's another floor upstairs which is available for customers too.

thank you for making everything happen for me!

skin got darker after snorkeling and island hopping session earlier that afternoon. Bad bad sunburn i've got right on my ass. I literally forgot to apply on my butt cuz I applied the sunblock right after I put my shorts on.

the waitress on my back just ruined the whole picture!

 our drinks!

the sun is about to set. such magnificent view!

We decided to order a few dishes to share  so that we could try more variety of both Thai and western delight.
Thailand is all about tomyam kung! Definitely a must have but i still prefer a white based tomyam. Taste alright to me. The thing about tomyam is if its good, its good. If its not, its still good!

 salmon cutlets something something.

calamari rings fried with some spicy batter. This is really good and addictive as well.

this crab meat thing is sooooo yummy! the crab meat without the shell makes life so much easier definitely. lol

everyone was so busy enjoying the sunset view before all of us start digging in.

a picture of us before we left the lovely place.

ending this post with this 2 ice creams that i loveeee :D

His 21st Birthday -Part 2

#ootd
We watched The Avengers before heading to his place. The movie wasn't that bad but not as exciting as Battleship. What do you think? :p
So we had a simple celebration on his actual birthday with his family as usual. We had dinner together in Berlin's Bier Houz! It was our (boyf and i) second time there though. I feel glad that i successfully made his 21st birthday a memorable one for both of us. And i knew, he really appreciates everything that i've done for him. That literally made me a happy girl though i spent way way WAY too much! x_x

ordered few dishes of food and this is just part of 'em

with his family :)

His 21st Birthday - Part 1

Finally the day that i've been waiting for! It aint my birthday but im as excited as the birthday boy :p I sucked at planning and giving surprises so its not something big but we both enjoyed the day pretty well. Started off our day with him fetching me to Megamall Pacific to get my hair washed and tonged. Er, my ugly hair roots grew and i didnt have time to go for touch up so i had to get my trusty hair dresser, Stanley to blow dry for me so that i look pretty temporarily :/ And btw its not his birthday yet actually. Will explain that later!

so thats how my hair looked. Stanley asked me not to loosen up my curls till later in the evening so it looks like i've got 2 rolled up buns on my sides haha

pre-birthday boy?
Drove to Gurney after that to get somone's present. i know i suck X2. We've got some problem but got 'em resolved after awhile. Lucky thing if not we'd end up being emo the whole day! wtf.

we stopped by for some desserts.
smile!

both honey dew juice and honey dew something something. the boyf knew i had a thing with honey dews. lol
he made me laugh while i was nom-ing my honey dew love!

sorry for spaming pics of both of us!

On the next day, we celebrate again with his family! Some of you guys might have seen the pictures tagged in facebook already but i'll blog about it soon. I'm so happy with the celebration and i hope he did as well. It definitely made my 'come-back' worthwhile despite i skipped 2 days of classes just to come back and celebrate his birthday with him. :)
