Hatyai (Part 1)

Hello! I had a fantastic 'holiday'/weekend yaw~ My friends and i head over the border to Hatyai for shopping spree :D It was an impromptu plan but everything worked out just fine, thanks to PeiRong for planning this lovely trip! AND THANK GOD the weather didn't fail on me! The few days before it was raining and there's rumours that Kedah might even flood or whatever BUT luckily we still manage to get ourselves out and come back safely.. lol

We chartered a car that drove us straight to our Hotel in Hatyai straight and they even booked a hotel for us! easy right?

finally!!

it took around an hour (plus/minus) to reach Hatyai from Dannok though

checked in to our room in May Flower Hotel.
My first time staying in that hotel actually.. It's a new hotel according to our driver and its quite cheap! only RM98/night! still i prefer to stay in Novotel despite the price :p

our hotel just a stone's throw away from Lee Garden! convenient much?

the Sun is SO BRIGHT! no sign of rain xD

Then its time to start our mission - SHOPPING SPREE!!
first stop, to the morning market! lotsa great bargains there from inner clothing to clothes and shoes and eateries! :D

we were so hungry so we stop for local delicacies

im not sure what noodle is it but its yummmy! cant really find it back in M'sia but its something like glass noodle or a smoother version of bihun *slurpssss

coconut water to coloured drinks.. lol

mad cheap tees for only 100Baht! haha

now i can has McD Fries on my ears! cool huh???

BUY 1, GET 1 FREE for 90Baht. which is only 50cents or less per pair!!!

uber sweet coconut kueh.. not my cup of tea :S


after shopping in the market for hours we slowly walked back to our hotel which is QUITE FAR. tiring max but we still did it! Went shopping in Lee Garden after that..

see! all sweaty already but still so energetic! lololol

a shop that sells cosmetics! super cute but nothing fancies me.. maybe one, only this pretty display table with mirror :p

SHABUSHI for lunch/dinner!
shabushi= shabu(steamboat)+sushi.
this is the best buffet I'd ever tried in my life, like seriously. its better than TAO, Seoul Garden or whatever because its cheaper and the food is JUST AWESOMEEEE!!!

i like the place setting cuz the colours make it look so chic inside.. haha
and the food on the conveyor belt is for steamboat.

the chef and kitchen helper kept refilling the 'belt' for us which is quite efficient.

the seafood are all MADLY FRESH. i can say that the prawns and fish cutlets are all like in heaven. wtf or i feel like im in heaven when im eating this!


wait, thats not all!

they even have these really really fresh sushi that they refill like every 15minutes, i think..
damn, i miss shabushi NOW! :(

here's the fried corner.. ALSO VERY NICE.

especially this one, i think its some fish roe.. its heavenly!!

i finished all these by MYSELF :'(
yes i know waistlines are expanding but i promise i'll eat less in uni which i always did :X
